By the way…

Thanks for following here at Shangri-La de Lioness and contributing your wonderful inputs. I am so grateful for each and every one of you out there reading along. So thanks! I really appreciate you.

This blog has transformed from rants to lyrics to poetry and back, and while I’m still figuring out my niche, I sincerely thank you all for going with the flow and sticking by my side.
Your support is inspiring 🙂

Don’t hesitate to ask me any questions, related to writing or just life, I don’t bite….usually.

Have a delightful night everyone.

Hand-Selected Wisdom From Albert Einstein

He had many gems for quotes, but these are some good ones. Enjoy!

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination.  Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

If you can’t explain it to a six year old, you don’t understand it yourself.

Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere.

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be.

Time is an illusion.

Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.

Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by it’s ability to climb a tree, it will live it’s whole life believing that it is stupid.

If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairytales.  If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairytales.

Once you accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy.

Gold Seeping

image

Image: Pinterest

You see the gold seeping through the cracks
A mind of matter in a blender
Volcano erupts
Stronger than the disrupt
Curve balls a specialty
God like a YoYo almost grazing the floor to pop back up in the knick of time
Cut the string
A bounce is better
Let in the Royal Flush

These Walls

image

These walls I’ve constructed
Unwittingly
Boxed my intentions
Cradled my fears
Stunted my potential
Princess captive

The fairytales will tell you a Knight in Shining Armour will rescue you
He rides a white horse and he is handsome and good

Maybe this is what saves the Princess’ hope
But she is the one who must save herself
She is the one who at least lets down her long hair

These walls I’ve constructed
From all my wits
So very firm
Saving a family
Freeing my fears
Fortifying the gold
Drying my tears
